  • Leads Council

LeadsCouncil (www.leadscouncil.com), the largest independent industry organization focused on online lead generation, today announced the winners of the first LEADER Awards — a brand new annual awards program designed to showcase the leading companies in online lead generation.

“The main goal of the LeadsCouncil is to establish industry benchmarks and to make it easier for our members to find trusted partners,” said Dave Wengel, co-founder, LeadsCouncil. “We spent several months conducting surveys of lead buyers and lead sellers to determine the LEADER award winners — the best partners in the lead gen industry as selected by their peers, colleagues, clients, and partners.”

The LEADER awards were awarded in three categories — lending, education, and lead gen technology partners. The LEADER award winners, among others, include:

    Lending:

DoublePositive — Best Hot Lead Transfer
Quinstreet and Tree.com (tie) — Most Improved Lead Generation Partner
    Tree.com — Best Lead Quality
    Tree.com — Best Conversion
    Leads360 — Best Lead Management

    Lead Gen Technology Partners:

DoublePositive — Best Hot Lead Transfer
    TARGUSinfo — Best Lead Verification
    TARGUSinfo — Best Lead Scoring

“The launch of LeadsCouncil’s LEADER awards is a great benefit to the online lead generation industry,” said Owen Raun, President of RMC Vanguard. “The LEADER awards are benchmarking the leading lead sellers and lead technology partners. And, most importantly, companies and peers in the online lead generation industry voted for these awards. The LEADER awards highlight the value and high-quality work of these companies.”

To establish an online lead generation awards program that reflected the opinions of the industry, LeadsCouncil based the LEADER awards on votes by lead buyers and lead sellers within the industry. Each organization was allowed two votes. Lead buyers were able to vote for their best lead gen and lead technology partners. Lead sellers were allowed to vote for their best lead technology partners.

LeadsCouncil was created to promote best practices for online lead generation and customer acquisition, develop industry-specific research (based on actual lead data), and foster education and networking in the lead generation industry.

Since its formation last year, LeadsCouncil now has approximately 90 member companies — evenly divided between lead buyers, lead sellers, and lead technology companies.
